Dearest Globel Citizen,

On June 7th, 2025, we brought our most loved Rooftop Rendezvous Ebony (All Black) Soirée experience to the nation’s capital.

Washington DC is known for a lot of things: Transplant city, Chocolate city, Black excellence nation and many other names to describe the rich art, history and culture that fills the scenes happening here.

It was a no-brainer for Goe Globel to continue its mission of connecting 100 million people from different places/backgrounds in the heart of the district.

Such a carefully curated experience, requires exquisite details. Guests arrived to the hotel lobby and were immediately greeted by the high-definition “Goe Globel” digital screen enveloping the elevator doors. As they are transported up to the rooftop, they are welcomed into the space with soft saxophone music, hors de houvres and a live painter.

With an indoor, outdoor feel - we put the power in the hands of our guests to make the experience whatever they wanted.

Inside, our branded sips Ebony Drop, You Are The World, Goe Globel, Liberia and People. Places. Possibilities were ready to be made fresh at the bar. Live painter, Kara S. Rice peacefully painted as guests looked over her shoulder at the artistry.

Outside on the rooftop, guests enjoyed views of the Capital building at golden hour and took pictures in a magazine style photobooth.

Once the sunsetted, the night became alive. Renowned Poet, Cookie B, blessed us all with her powerful spoken words to remind us of the rich art, history and culture we each carry. She said "it'll never have to be a birthday to celebrate how we exist"

The audience was captivated and ready to dance the night away. We electric slid to Candy by Cameo, line danced to Boots on the Ground and enjoyed a live performance by rapper Zak G, drummer Tyler Leak and Saxophonist Cameron.

As the night came to a close, we celebrated and acknowledged life. We’ve each been gifted with life. One that is like no other. Custom and made to be experienced by those we share special moments with. We each have a story within us that makes up who we are. As we sang happy birthday to the people born in June, we all celebrated the rich art, history and culture we have.

Guests left with goodie bags from East 223rd to keep their skin and hair glowing, Wynter Teas for a warm comforting beverage and a special thank you card from yours truly for sharing their night with us.

If you joined us at this experience, we thank you again! If you missed it, we invite you to enjoy the recap video from our night to remember at the Goe Globel DC experience. We eagerly anticipate Goeing Globel with you soon.
